Staff Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely as a full-time Staff Infrastructure Engineer, the successful candidate will provide technical leadership for core infrastructure platforms, focusing on compute, containerization, virtualization, and storage while partnering with teams to design and implement scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions ensuring high availability, performance, and security
• Lead the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards and automation to reduce operational toil
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex infrastructure challenges and drive improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with expertise in compute, virtualization, and storage platforms
• Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python
• Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration in production environments
• Experience designing and operating infrastructure in virtualized and/or hybrid environments
