Staff Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the cloud platform that supports all engineering deployments, the full-time Staff Infrastructure Engineer will architect and manage deployment architecture, container networking, and self-serve infrastructure while ensuring cost attribution and scaling efficiency in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Redesign deployment architecture to isolate failures and enhance service reliability
• Manage the ECS and EKS footprint while designing inter-service network connectivity
• Build a self-serve infrastructure platform with Terraform, enabling engineering teams to manage standard changes independently

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in platform, infrastructure, or SRE roles with significant production traffic experience
• Deep AWS expertise, including ownership of compute and networking at scale (ECS, EKS, RDS)
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform
• Hands-on experience with autoscaling, capacity engineering, and container orchestration
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-team decisions and improve infrastructure practices organization-wide
