Staff Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
As a technical leader on the Platform Engineering team, the full-time remote Staff Infrastructure Engineer will architect, scale, and enhance global cloud infrastructure for high-throughput payments applications, focusing on building resilient and automated systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design and optimize multi-region, high-availability AWS infrastructure for mission-critical applications
- Implement self-healing, automated infrastructure using GitOps and modern CI/CD pipelines
- Develop end-to-end telemetry solutions and manage incident response to enhance system reliability
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems within mission-critical environments
- Advanced proficiency in AWS ecosystems and Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps workflows
- Proficient in automation and scripting with Python, Go, or Bash
- Deep experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
