Staff Innovation Engineer
Job Summary
As a hands-on building role, the Staff Innovation Engineer will work in a hybrid or remote capacity to architect core systems, develop new marketplace products from concept to pilot, and enhance existing products, focusing on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions in the real estate and construction sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build durable, reusable services for Marketplace products, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with customers to scope problems and deliver new products within tight timelines, iterating based on feedback
- Optimize existing products for quality and user adoption, enhancing workflows and overall customer experience
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend and distributed systems
- Proven experience in building and shipping products in fast-paced environments with real customer engagement
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM integration and document-extraction tools
- Strong understanding of full-stack development principles and a collaborative approach to product development
- Experience in complex B2B environments such as financial services, construction, or real estate is a plus
