Staff Insider Risk Engineer

Job Summary

To support the insider risk and digital forensics functions, the full-time Staff Insider Risk Engineer will manage investigations into insider threats, optimize detection strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-eligible role.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into suspected insider threats, including data exfiltration and policy violations
• Triage and validate alerts from the insider risk management program, determining severity and escalation paths
• Partner with HR, Legal, and Privacy teams on confirmed insider incidents and contribute to the improvement of insider risk playbooks

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in insider risk, security operations, investigations, or digital forensics
• 2+ years of experience managing an insider risk program or conducting insider risk investigations
• Experience with forensic tools and endpoint data loss prevention platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and the ability to extract and interpret log data
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, UEBA, and EDR
