Staff Licensing Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting government customers remotely, the full-time Staff Licensing Engineer will troubleshoot software installation, licensing, and configuration issues while managing the full lifecycle of licensing inquiries and maintaining accurate software asset inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve software installation, licensing, and configuration issues for customers, particularly in government sectors
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all licensing and configuration concerns, managing inquiries from start to resolution
• Track and document the licensing fulfillment process in Salesforce, ensuring accurate records of license keys and deployment configurations

Required qualifications

• Experience in technical support or systems administration roles
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, FLEXlm, and network administration
• Familiarity with software licensing and asset management
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with government customers and understanding their documentation requirements
