Job Summary

To tackle sophisticated fraud challenges, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Analyst will define ML data strategies, manage feature engineering pipelines, and drive infrastructure improvements in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define the ML data and feature strategy for fraud detection, ensuring high-accuracy actions on critical traffic
• Own the end-to-end feature engineering pipeline, focusing on building and validating features that enhance ML performance against fraud
• Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to translate insights into production-ready systems and mentor junior team members

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning analytics, data science, or a related field, specifically in risk or fraud contexts
• Expertise in Spark, Python, and big data ML, with a focus on feature engineering for ML models
• Comprehensive understanding of the evolution of the ML industry and its application to infrastructure challenges
• Experience optimizing for sensitivity and accuracy in high-stakes fraud scenarios
• Passion for combating fraud, with a proactive approach to investigations and pattern recognition
