Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable machine learning systems for production deployment
• Design and implement machine learning infrastructure to enhance productivity across teams
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or a related field; PhD preferred
• 7+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production
• Deep expertise in Python and at least one major ML framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• Proven experience with ML techniques in computer vision, OCR, or NLP
• Strong understanding of ML system design and modern infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP)
