Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Product Engineer, Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Fine-tune, distill, and optimize LLMs for improved performance and efficiency
• Improve on-device model architecture using frameworks like MLX, ONNX, and TFLite
• Set product direction leveraging expertise in machine learning to enhance capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in optimizing and productionizing modern ML models
• Deep experience fine-tuning open-source LLMs
• Production experience with a modern coding language like Python
• Experience independently running critical projects and shipping ML features
• Availability for 4+ hours of overlap with Eastern Time Zone team members
