Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Content Understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MLEs and SWEs in ACU, driving design reviews and setting technical standards
• Develop evaluation and quality monitoring systems for content understanding signals using state-of-the-art practices
• Build and evolve content understanding capabilities for commercial conversations and operationalize them as robust signals

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience delivering production ML systems at scale, preferably in content understanding or Ads
• Demonstrated technical leadership with experience driving architecture decisions and aligning teams on ML systems
• Strong track record in building and shipping NLP or content understanding models to production
• Practical experience using LLMs in production for labeling, evaluation, or distillation
• Deep experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow and production-quality code in Python
