Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the ML strategy and execution for intelligent systems, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will design and implement large-scale recommendation and decisioning systems for advertisers and sellers, working in a hybrid model with in-office collaboration required one day per week.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement recommendation and decisioning systems that enhance advertiser and seller guidance across various platforms
• Own end-to-end recommendation initiatives, including problem framing, model development, and deployment
• Mentor engineers and elevate the technical standards for ML development and responsible AI usage across the organization

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building and deploying large-scale ML systems in production
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Deep understanding of recommendation system architectures and modern ML techniques
• Proven technical leadership with experience driving multi-quarter ML and systems roadmaps
• Experience using AI coding assistants and LLM-powered productivity tools in development processes
