Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the full IDV ML stack, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will lead the technical strategy for identity verification systems, ensuring the integrity of millions of accounts while working remotely with occasional in-person sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete IDV ML stack, including models for document authenticity, face-matching, and anomaly detection
• Develop identity-graph systems to detect synthetic-identity rings and coordinated fraud during onboarding
• Lead and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with cross-functional groups on ML system design

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience deploying production ML systems at scale with technical leadership in ML architecture
• Domain expertise in identity verification and applied ML in areas such as computer vision and GNNs
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch for model training and serving
• Proven ability to translate KYC/AML requirements into ML roadmaps and communicate with various stakeholders
• Experience utilizing generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
