Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative AI/ML solutions, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will architect, build, and deploy production-grade AI/ML systems on AWS infrastructure, focusing on healthcare data standards and serverless cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement production foundation model applications using advanced prompt engineering techniques
• Build and optimize vector search solutions and develop classical ML pipelines for healthcare data
• Architect high-performance APIs and deploy AWS serverless architectures to ensure scalability and compliance

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on AI/ML systems
• Proficiency in Python stack, including FastAPI, Pydantic, and AWS services like Lambda and DynamoDB
• Hands-on experience with foundation models and prompt engineering techniques
• Working knowledge of healthcare standards such as FHIR R4, HL7 v2, and LOINC
• Strong understanding of security principles, including IAM and HIPAA compliance
