Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Driving architectural direction for the ML Platform, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will lead the design and delivery of large-scale platform initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical direction of the ML Platform feature store, model hosting, and experimentation infrastructure
• Lead design and delivery of large-scope platform initiatives from conception through production
• Set and maintain high engineering quality through hands-on code contributions and mentorship

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience delivering complex backend or infrastructure systems at scale
• Direct experience building or operating core ML infrastructure, such as feature stores and model serving
• Mastery of a modern backend language like Python, Java, or Go
• Deep proficiency with distributed systems concepts, including consistency and fault tolerance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
