Job Summary

Driving the evolution of advertising technology, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will architect and implement high-throughput backend systems for ad auctions, balancing seller and buyer outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and lead the implementation of backend systems for ad auctions, including bidding, pacing, and ranking
• Design auction mechanisms that enhance seller value and buyer experience while ensuring marketplace efficiency
• Develop and maintain integrations between auction services, machine learning models, and data pipelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of backend/distributed systems engineering experience
• Strong mastery of distributed systems fundamentals and experience with high-throughput, low-latency services
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Go
• Proven track record of leading architecture and scaling core systems, particularly in ad or ML serving contexts
