Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of end-to-end ranking algorithms, the full-time Staff Machine Learning Engineer will work remotely to enhance search and recommendation systems by building and optimizing machine learning models using large-scale data.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and refine machine learning model requirements
• Develop, productionize, and operate machine learning models and pipelines at scale for various use cases
• Utilize third-party and in-house machine learning tools to create high-performing systems for fast model development and low-latency serving

Required qualifications

• 9+ years of industry experience in applied machine learning with an MS or PhD in relevant fields
• Strong programming skills in Scala, Python, Java, C++, or equivalent
• Deep understanding of machine learning best practices and algorithms, including neural networks and optimization
• Experience with technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes, and Spark
• Proven experience in building end-to-end machine learning infrastructure and productionizing models
