Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Job Summary

To shape the future of personalized discovery and engagement, the full-time remote Staff Machine Learning Engineer will own and improve machine learning models for the Home feed, design personalized recommendations for millions of users, and enhance content recommendation systems leveraging large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Own and enhance machine learning models and systems powering the Home feed and Shortcuts experience
• Design, build, and deploy personalized recommendations for a global audience
• Drive A/B testing and continuous optimization of recommendation quality and efficiency

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in building and deploying machine learning systems in production
• Deep expertise in recommendation systems and large-scale content discovery platforms
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch for machine learning
• Experience with large language model training and optimization techniques
• Familiarity with distributed machine learning workloads and data pipeline technologies
