Job Summary

Leading a small team of 4-8 machine learning researchers, the full-time Staff Research Team Lead will drive high-impact research projects while maintaining hands-on involvement in model design, implementation, and team mentorship in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage team priorities, review work, and support the career growth of researchers
• Identify and drive research projects with company-wide scope, focusing on core metrics
• Design and implement deep learning models to predict user behavior and preferences

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a researcher or engineer
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning or data science
• Proven leadership experience with at least 2 years of managing and mentoring a team
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong mathematical knowledge and intuition
