Job Summary

As a full-time remote Staff Machine Learning Risk Analyst, the successful candidate will define ML data strategies for fraud detection, oversee feature engineering pipelines, and drive improvements in automated fraud prevention systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define the ML data and feature strategy for effective fraud detection
• Own the feature engineering pipeline, ensuring high-quality features improve ML performance
• Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to translate insights into production-ready systems

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning analytics, data science, or a related technical field, particularly in risk or fraud
• Expertise in Spark, Python, and big data ML, with a focus on feature engineering
• Comprehensive understanding of the evolution of the ML industry and its application to fraud detection
• Experience optimizing ML models for sensitivity and accuracy in high-stakes scenarios
• Passion for combating fraud and the ability to conduct self-driven investigations
