Job Summary
Leading spacecraft manufacturing initiatives, the full-time Staff Manufacturing Engineer will oversee the assembly and integration of satellite configurations while developing processes to enhance yield and efficiency, based in Louisville, CO with some remote work flexibility.
Key responsibilities
- Own execution of all spacecraft assembly and integration activities, ensuring compliance with engineering requirements and quality standards
- Develop work instructions and manufacturing processes aimed at increasing yield and reducing cycle time
- Lead investigations and corrective actions for non-conformances, collaborating with engineering on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in spacecraft manufacturing or complex electro-mechanical systems
- Hands-on manufacturing and test experience
- Deep knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably Solidworks
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools
