Staff Mission Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary

As the Staff Mission Lead Systems Engineer, this full-time remote position will partner with the Mission Architecture team to develop mission concepts, drive architecture trades, and ensure end-to-end technical success for high-reliability systems across various missions, including those for U.S. Government and commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Mission Architecture team to develop mission concepts and technical baselines
• Serve as the ultimate technical authority, leading the design and development of missions while managing requirements traceability
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for designated missions, interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• B.S. or higher degree in an engineering field with 10+ years of experience in complex system or spacecraft design
• Demonstrated experience as a technical lead on complex systems for U.S. Government or commercial customers
• Experience with major space programs and USG/IC acquisition standards
• Extensive experience in system modeling, analysis, and integration of complex systems
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
