Staff ML Engineer

Job Summary

To drive the vision for agentic systems and model evaluations, the full-time Staff ML Engineer will work remotely, owning complex production ML and agent systems while collaborating with a senior team to enhance code understanding products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-step agent loops for reliable and observable agentic experiences
• Develop and manage evaluation strategies to assess product changes and performance
• Oversee model selection, upgrading, and training to optimize system performance and cost efficiency

Required qualifications

• Proven experience managing the production lifecycle of machine learning models
• Expertise in designing and implementing multi-step agentic systems
• Strong judgment in evaluation methodologies and metrics for ML products
• Ability to balance cost, latency, and quality in product development
• Experience mentoring engineers and enhancing team capabilities in agent engineering
