Staff MLOps Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the AI/ML platform, the full-time Staff MLOps Engineer will assess and enhance the current setup, build a shared infrastructure for model training and serving, and oversee the full ML lifecycle while working remotely or from preferred locations in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Audit the existing AI/ML training and serving setup to determine necessary improvements
• Build and maintain a shared AI/ML platform that supports various models and initiatives
• Oversee the full ML lifecycle, ensuring efficient data processing and model iteration for Data Scientists

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in leading ML platform work at scale, with strong opinions on feature stores and model registries
• Proficiency in Databricks, Kubernetes, and cloud environments, particularly AWS
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java, along with experience in Terraform
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and set engineering standards
• Commercial acumen to justify platform investments and align with business priorities
