Staff .NET Backend Engineer

Job Summary

As a highly senior, technically hands-on Staff .NET Backend Engineer, the full-time role will involve architecting and delivering cloud-native services using C# and .NET Core, primarily on AWS Lambda, while collaborating with Business Analysts to drive product solutions and mentoring fellow engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build complex, high-performance distributed services in C# and .NET Core, ensuring end-to-end delivery
• Design data models and persistence patterns across Aurora RDS MySQL and DynamoDB, optimizing for performance and scalability
• Champion a high-quality engineering culture through rigorous standards, including CI/CD practices and observability

Required qualifications

• Proven expertise in C# and .NET Core 8/9, with experience in designing distributed REST API microservices
• Strong knowledge of AWS serverless architecture, including Lambda, API Gateway, and SQS
• Deep understanding of data modeling and query optimization in Aurora RDS MySQL and DynamoDB
• Experience in designing event-driven systems and managing operational robustness with AWS messaging services
• Ability to operate independently without a traditional Product Owner, making product trade-offs and driving delivery
