Staff Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Network Engineer (Team Lead) to provide technical leadership and operational management for their Network Engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure across hybrid cloud and data center environments
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for high-severity incidents, ensuring durable fixes and proactive risk reduction
• Provide day-to-day technical direction, workload prioritization, and mentorship to Network Engineers and cross-functional partners

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on expertise in BGP, advanced routing protocols, and Cisco switches
• Experience with Cisco and FortiGate firewalls, VPN technologies, and F5 load balancers
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS networking, including ExpressRoute, VPC networking, and hybrid connectivity
• Experience with scripting and configuration automation, preferably using Terraform
• Familiarity with governance and compliance standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and HITRUST
