Staff Network Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the health of Skylo's NTN RAN network, the full-time Staff Network Reliability Engineer will manage 24/7 RAN operations, diagnose and resolve technical incidents, and lead continuous optimization efforts while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Own 24/7 NTN RAN health, including monitoring alarms and executing runbooks for fault recovery
• Serve as the L3 escalation authority for RAN-domain incidents, leading troubleshooting efforts and vendor interactions
• Conduct root cause analysis for RAN incidents and contribute to performance reporting and optimization initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in RAN engineering and operations within a production environment, preferably with NTN or satellite RAN
• Deep expertise in 3GPP RAN standards and protocols, including LTE and 5G
• Extensive knowledge of vRAN/ORAN architecture and production RAN troubleshooting techniques
• Proficiency in RF and timing domain knowledge, including GNSS and PTP synchronization
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana for RAN KPI monitoring
