Staff OpenSearch Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - OpenSearch.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the technical roadmap and design large-scale OpenSearch clusters for data management
• Integrate OpenSearch with CDP components to enhance the unified search experience
• Optimize performance and oversee the development of automated deployment solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 6+ years of experience; OR Master's degree with 4-6 years; OR PhD with 2-4 years
• 6+ years of experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch in production environments
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, including consensus algorithms and sharding
• Mastery of Java and proficiency in Go or Python for automation
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
