Staff PHP Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer (PHP) to develop and maintain high-performance PHP applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable PHP applications while optimizing performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance issues using observability tools like Dynatrace
• Collaborate with engineers to implement improvements and mentor junior engineers on coding standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development with a strong understanding of PHP frameworks
• Experience with data tools such as MySQL, Memcache, ElastiCache, and Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with caching strategies and performance optimizations
• Experience with observability tools like Dynatrace for monitoring and troubleshooting application performance
