Staff Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Platform Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve Kubernetes-based platform and GitOps infrastructure
• Drive developer experience improvements across CI/CD, secrets management, and observability
• Implement scalable, secure systems for networking, identity, and service-to-service communication

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering roles
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code tooling like Terraform
• Strong software engineering skills, ideally in Go or Python
• Experience building CI/CD systems and improving developer workflows
• Clear understanding of cloud networking, service mesh, and zero-trust design patterns
