Staff Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure optimized for geospatial and AI/ML workloads
• Own and evolve the internal developer platform, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment workflows
• Architect and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving geospatial data at scale

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles
• Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
