Staff Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced platform engineers will find a full-time opportunity as a Staff Platform Engineer, responsible for designing and operating core platform infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD systems, while working remotely and mentoring other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core platform infrastructure including Kubernetes clusters, service mesh, and observability stack
• Own the Elixir/BEAM runtime platform, focusing on tuning, clustering, and deployment patterns
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform/Pulumi across bare metal servers and cloud resources

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure, or SRE roles
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle and multi-cluster management
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Pulumi) in production
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Elixir/BEAM, Go, or Python
• Track record of shipping developer platforms adopted by multiple engineers
