Staff Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of infrastructure, the full-time remote Staff Platform Engineer will build and operate systems for ad-serving and streaming platforms, ensuring reliability and cost-efficiency while enabling engineering teams to deliver high-performance video and advertising experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement composable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns and GitOps workflows for cloud infrastructure
• Develop observability solutions and lead incident response efforts, ensuring system reliability and performance
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and safe deployments while promoting a culture of automation and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in architecting and maintaining high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems in cloud environments
• Proficient in systems-level coding (Go, Python, or TypeScript) and experienced with Kubernetes and IaC tools (CDK, Terraform)
• Strong background in CI/CD systems and global monitoring and alerting pipelines
• Experience with large-scale streaming or ad-serving workloads and cloud security best practices
• Ability to conduct performance analysis and optimization across infrastructure stacks
