Staff Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for platform infrastructure and backend architecture, the full-time Staff Platform Engineer will drive platform strategy, enhance system reliability, and collaborate across engineering teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for platform infrastructure, reliability, and scalability initiatives
• Design and review complex system architectures that support company growth and evolving business needs
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical patterns across multiple teams

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and operating large-scale backend platforms and distributed systems
• Deep expertise in building, scaling, and modernizing production Django applications
• Expert-level experience architecting and operating cloud environments within AWS
• Proven ability to design resilient, secure, and scalable systems that support significant business growth
• Advanced knowledge of Postgres architecture, performance optimization, and data modeling
