Staff Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Staff Platform Engineer, this full-time remote role will design, deploy, and manage secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and AWS GovCloud, focusing on compliance and operational readiness for regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support deployment and operation of services in FedRAMP High-aligned environments, ensuring compliance with security and operational controls
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code, primarily Terraform, and operate Kubernetes-based services
• Participate in release operations and incident response, enhancing platform reliability and operational documentation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform
• Proficient in operating Kubernetes workloads and Helm-based deployments
• Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals and compliance requirements
• Ability to independently manage complex infrastructure projects from design to production support
