Staff Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a visionary Staff Platform Engineer to join the EngOps team in a full-time remote role, responsible for designing and building a robust Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that enhances engineering efficiency and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage high-availability, scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes and cloud-native services
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling to minimize developer friction and streamline deployment cycles
• Implement observability, security standards, and cost-optimization strategies across the infrastructure ecosystem

Required qualifications

• Deep experience deploying and customizing developer portals like Backstage or Port.io
• Expertise in Cloud Architecture (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, Networking, and Security with 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Exceptional expertise in golang and deep knowledge of System Architecture
• Proven ability to drive architectural strategy and solve complex operational bottlenecks
• Documented track record of mentoring senior and mid-level engineers through architectural guidance
