Staff Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a rapidly scaling team, the full-time Staff Platform Engineer will design, deploy, and operate secure cloud infrastructure across AWS and AWS GovCloud, focusing on compliance-driven deployments and production operations in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support deployment and operation of services in FedRAMP High-aligned environments and assist with security and compliance requirements
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code, primarily Terraform, and operate Kubernetes-based services
- Participate in incident response and release operations while improving operational documentation and deployment safety
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related roles
- Hands-on experience operating production infrastructure in AWS and managing Infrastructure-as-Code, preferably Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes-based workloads and Helm-based deployments
- Strong understanding of cloud security fundamentals and compliance requirements
- Ability to independently manage complex infrastructure projects from design to production support
