Staff Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a visionary Staff Platform Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on designing and building a robust Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to enhance engineering team capabilities and operational excellence while integrating AI infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage high-availability, scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes and cloud-native services
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and internal tooling to minimize developer friction and streamline deployment cycles
- Implement observability, security standards, and cost-optimization strategies across the infrastructure ecosystem
Required qualifications
- Deep experience deploying and customizing developer portals like Backstage or Port.io
- Expertise in Cloud Architecture (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, Networking, and Security with 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Exceptional expertise in golang and deep knowledge of System Architecture
- Proven ability to drive architectural strategy and solve complex operational bottlenecks
- Documented track record of mentoring senior and mid-level engineers through architectural guidance
