Staff Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the cloud infrastructure for a developer-focused company, the full-time Staff Platform Engineer will manage the scaling of cloud services, lead customer-cloud deployments, and operationalize infrastructure as code while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and scale the cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, and data layers
- Lead the development of BYOC deployments, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Operationalize IaC and GitOps foundations to maintain fast shipping as the team grows
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles with experience in high-traffic systems
- Deep production experience with Kubernetes and AWS, with exposure to GCP and Azure
- Proficiency in Terraform and strong database skills, particularly with Postgres
- Experience with compliance standards such as SOC 2 or ISO audits
- Product mindset with the ability to empathize with developers and customers
