Staff Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Staff Platform Engineer, the successful candidate will build, monitor, and scale core cloud infrastructure for a security platform, focusing on resilience and complex infrastructure challenges in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and enhance cloud infrastructure across multi-region and multi-cloud environments to improve reliability and capacity failover
- Author custom Kubernetes tools and infrastructure code using Terraform, Go, Python, or Ruby
- Diagnose and fix complex production issues and performance bottlenecks across cloud environments
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience managing Linux-based cloud infrastructure
- Deep expertise in multi-region or multi-cloud resilience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience orchestrating production workloads in Kubernetes
- Strong coding proficiency in Go, Ruby, or Python
- Proven track record operating enterprise observability tools like Datadog
