Staff Product Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Product Designer for their Design System team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, documentation, and iteration of reusable UI components and patterns for the design system
• Collaborate with PMs and Engineers to define the vision and strategy for the design system, ensuring it meets user needs
• Conduct user research and analyze data to identify pain points and opportunities for improving the design system's efficiency and quality

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing and shipping complex web-based products, with a focus on design systems
• Expertise in Figma, including creating and maintaining complex component libraries
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards and their application in design systems
• Experience in user research methodologies and data analysis to inform design decisions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
