Staff Product Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Staff Product Designer will collaborate with product teams to create and prototype AI-powered editorial experiences, ensuring alignment with journalistic standards and product excellence.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for integrating AI into products and features
• Imagine and prototype new AI-powered experiences for users, validating concepts through quantitative and qualitative research
• Champion AI innovation and ethics while ensuring the quality and integrity of AI prototypes and products

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a product manager or product designer, with a focus on AI-enabled tools
• Experience collaborating with editorial or product teams to deliver user-centric experiences
• Portfolio demonstrating experience in dynamic environments with shifting requirements
• Experience designing user experiences that incorporate AI/LLM technologies
• Ability to refine AI's tone and behavior to align with brand guidelines
