Staff Product Designer

Job Summary

Owning the evolution of Atlas, the full-time remote Staff Product Designer will lead the design system's strategy and quality across web and mobile, ensuring accessibility and AI readiness while collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and managing the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of the design system, including components and guidelines
• Setting quality standards for the design system through reviews and audits, ensuring brand fidelity and accessibility
• Mentoring designers on systems thinking and AI fluency, while defining metrics to assess the design system's health and adoption

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience with a focus on consumer products across web and mobile
• Experience building and scaling a design system, including governance and component architecture
• Strong understanding of modern front-end concepts and collaboration with engineering on APIs
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling and a point of view on token architecture for AI consumption
• Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with documentation tools like Storybook or Notion
