Staff Product Designer

Job Summary

Methodical and thoughtful, the full-time Staff Product Designer will evolve product design language and craft intuitive experiences across surfaces while collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams and maintaining high design standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design product experiences systematically and visually, ensuring consistency across the Pinterest ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to evolve design language and conduct quality audits to uphold craft standards
• Prototype and validate new ideas using various tools, including Figma and AI, to develop user-centric solutions

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio of shipped or in-progress work
• Expert-level motion and visual design skills with an understanding of usability and experience quality
• Ability to design within and extend a design system while balancing consistency and innovation
• Bachelor's degree in design or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong product thinking and systems mindset, connecting design decisions to user outcomes and product strategy
