Staff Product Designer

Job Summary

As a founding Staff Product Designer, the full-time role will focus on creating a coherent workflow and product experience for biotech partners, ensuring that AI models are effectively translated into user-friendly SaaS offerings while working closely with product, engineering, and data science teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Clarify the problem space by engaging with biotech users to understand their workflows and needs, and define the product direction based on findings
• Design the product by owning the flow, interaction, and visual aspects, while building a design system that enables rapid development
• Lift the team by mentoring peers, participating in hiring, and establishing research and critique practices as the design team grows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience as a product designer with a proven track record of shipping software used by external customers
• Experience as a senior or staff designer on a small team, demonstrating end-to-end project involvement
• A portfolio showcasing work from problem framing to final product delivery
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship
