Staff Product Designer

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of design systems, the full-time Staff Product Designer will develop and maintain Zipline's design system, ensuring consistency and quality across product experiences in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Zipline's design system, including component architecture and accessibility standards
• Establish shared interaction patterns and design principles to create consistency across products
• Build documentation and decision-making frameworks to support independent and consistent work among designers, engineers, and PMs

Required qualifications

• Experience leading or significantly contributing to a design system at scale
• Strong systems thinking across interaction design, workflows, and visual design
• Proven ability to drive alignment and adoption across cross-functional teams
• Excellent visual and interaction design craft
• Strong partnership with engineering and understanding of implementation constraints
