Staff Product Designer

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of design systems and foundational infrastructure, the full-time Staff Product Designer will work remotely to enhance Zipline's design system, establish consistent interaction patterns, and build documentation that supports product development across teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve ZUI, including component architecture, design tokens, and accessibility standards while partnering with engineering
• Establish shared interaction patterns and design principles to create consistency across the product
• Build documentation and frameworks to facilitate independent and consistent work among designers, engineers, and PMs

Required qualifications

• Experience leading or significantly contributing to a design system at scale
• Strong systems thinking across interaction design, workflows, information architecture, and visual design
• Proven ability to drive alignment and adoption across cross-functional teams
• Excellent visual and interaction design craft
• Strong partnership with engineering and understanding of implementation constraints
