Staff Product Designer

Job Summary

Owning the design vision for a major Babylist experience, the full-time Staff Product Designer will work remotely to create intuitive and emotionally engaging user flows across web and mobile platforms, leveraging AI tools and production code to enhance product quality and drive impactful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own customer journeys and major product experiences end-to-end, ensuring coherence across the Babylist product ecosystem
• Set and articulate the design vision for experiences, aligning organizational direction and adapting to changing evidence or business needs
• Conduct user research and create fast feedback loops to ground design decisions in actual user behavior

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in product design with a portfolio showcasing work across web and native mobile platforms
• Strong understanding of design systems and interaction patterns, with the ability to build reusable components
• Experience writing production frontend code and implementing designs directly into the codebase
• Ability to leverage generative and evaluative research to inform design decisions
• Experience in e-commerce or marketplace products, focusing on user trust and emotional engagement
