Staff Product Designer
Job Summary
To define and own the product experience for Walrus, the full-time Staff Product Designer will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, lead discovery processes, and design complex technical workflows in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end developer experience across Walrus's product surfaces and key workflows
- Lead discovery efforts to frame problems and identify necessary evidence before building solutions
- Design complex technical workflows, including flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs
Required qualifications
- 8-10 years of product design experience with ownership of complex technical products
- A portfolio showcasing shipped developer tools or cloud/infrastructure products
- Strong interaction-design skills for data-heavy interfaces and complex states
- Experience in identifying and framing product problems independently
- Proven track record of influencing product strategy and design systems
