Staff Product Designer
Job Summary
To support a growing product team, the full-time Staff Product Designer will design end-to-end user experiences for tools that enhance Chartis' consulting efforts, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design products and features from initial concept through launch, focusing on user-friendly interfaces for complex workflows
- Contribute to and maintain a design system that evolves with product needs, ensuring quality and consistency across multiple platforms
- Drive product strategy by clarifying user needs and influencing roadmap decisions based on research and design rationale
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of product design experience, particularly in complex domains such as enterprise software or healthcare
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high visual and interaction craft with measurable outcomes from previous projects
- Hands-on experience designing AI-powered features and familiarity with AI tools in the design workflow
- Experience building and contributing to design systems, including documentation for scalable components
- Proven ability to conduct user research and usability testing in fast-paced environments
