Staff Product Designer
Job Summary
Leading the design of internal web-based software tools, the full-time remote Staff Product Designer will own the complete design process, focusing on optimizing complex workflows and enhancing user experiences for internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete design process from problem framing and information architecture to UI design, prototyping, and shipping
- Translate operational mental models into intuitive experiences and efficient UI patterns
- Conduct ongoing research with internal teams to validate interaction patterns and advocate for user needs
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of product design experience with a focus on data-intensive workflows or internal tools; fintech experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead user research, map user journeys, and collaborate with engineering teams
- Strong online portfolio showcasing information architecture and complex workflow design
- Highly proficient in Figma and experience with maintaining design systems
- Experience in financial planning, wealth management, or investing is preferred
